Saline removal otherwise known as ``Osmosis`` is a safe and effective way to remove unwanted cosmetic tattoo's for lips, eyeliner, and brows . By using a tattoo machine and saline solution, this dissolves old pigmentation safely within the skin. Before booking your first session, you are REQUIRED to book a free consultation.

Due to the nature of the permanent cosmetic(s) removal process, a consultation free of charge is mandatory prior to booking. At the consultation, the area that you’re requesting to have removed will be accessed to determine if removal is possible, and the number of potential sessions you may require.

Permanent makeup removal may take many sessions to achieve your desired results. The following is a guided estimation to help you determine how many sessions you may need. If you have a few microblading strokes you’d like to have removed it could take 1-2 sessions. If you have permanent makeup you want to be lightened from a dark to a light or medium shade it could take up to 3-4 sessions and if you want complete permanent makeup removal it could take up to 6-8 sessions. 

* Please understand that permanent cosmetics removal is not 100% guaranteed, and success varies from person to person, and from procedure to procedure. Successful removal depends on past(s) artists technique, ink, age, depth, etc. We strive for excellence and this technique has yielded great results, but it is important to know that tattoo removal has many variances, and therefore we cannot guarantee results.

Permanent Makeup Removal Contraindications


To book these services you must not currently have any of these contraindications…….

  • Pregnant, nursing, allergic to pigment/dye or have diabetes.
  • On blood thinners or have any type of cardiac illness/medical issue.
  • No open sores, cuts, hyperpigmentation, issues with keloids or scarring.
  • Must not be using Accutane or Retin A.
  • Currently undergoing chemotherapy.
  • Must not have previous laser removal.

Permanent Makeup Removal Prior to Procedure Instructions


  • Electrolysis should not be done within 5 days of the procedure.
  • Allergy testing is recommended before the planned procedure if there is any doubt you may be allergic to dye or pigment.
  • Limit the use of aspirin or ibuprofen prior to your scheduled appointment.
  • Avoid chemical peels, retinols, and retina-a within one week of the procedure.
  • Avoid drinking alcohol 24 hours before your procedure.
  • Avoid having Botox done in the brow area at least 2 weeks prior to the procedure.
  • Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior to the procedure (they are natural blood thinners).

Permanent Makeup Removal Post Procedure Instructions


  • If swelling occurs you can apply ice to the treated areas for 10-30 minutes. Ice helps to reduce swelling and aids in the healing process.
  • Dry heal; which means no added moisture, creams or chemicals on procedure area while healing. Avoid products that include acids on procedure area (glycolic, lactic, or alpha hydroxy acid).
  • Starting the night of the procedure use lukewarm water on procedure area; using your fingertips apply medium pressure, massage liquid antibacterial soap such as Dial into the procedure area for 10-20 seconds and rinse with water. Lightly pat the area dry with a clean towel; repeat daily until the scab is gone (Washing DOES NOT remove the pigment. Washing daily removes bacteria, the buildup of product, oils, and dead skin cells). We encourage you to wash your face first with your usual face wash, going around the procedure area once complete clean your brows with the liquid antibacterial soap as instructed above.
  • Do not expose the procedure area to the full water pressure of the shower until the area is healed.
  • Do not rub, pick or scratch at the scab (epithelial crust) on the treated area. Allow scabbing to naturally fall off (Picking can cause scarring or loss of color).
  • Avoid sleeping on tails of eyebrows until scab is gone.
  • Do not submerge your face in fresh, salt or chlorinated pool or bath water for 2 weeks following the procedure.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for 2 weeks following the procedure.
  • Avoid activities causing you to sweat in the brow area for at least 5-7 days.
  • Avoid makeup in brow area during the healing process. You can use a Q-tip to wipe excess makeup off when wearing makeup in the future. During healing time pigment may fade and disappear, you may fill in your brows if you need to once all scabbing is gone.
  • You will not be allowed to donate blood for 1 calendar year following your procedure, per the American Red Cross guidelines.
